What a blast! Two Scouts led the parade with the American Flag. I was in the first car waving. Two Scouts were behind me throwing candy, followed by the WIXY van.

I felt bad being named Grand Marshal, however, since the float behind the WIXY van was Ogden’s oldest resident.

I thought, too, that my being in the parade would have been the biggest news in Ogden in 150 years, but everyone was buzzing about the Boy Scout who won the cricket spitting contest.

A 21-year-old man sitting down for a haircut allegedly grabbed scissors (to defend himself) and slashed another in the back Tuesday in Stamford, CT. He was arrested before his haircut was complete.
